Zoomtext Trackig Problem

After about a month use of Zoomtext the program stops tracking the cursor. I backup the settings, uninstall then reinstall Zoomtext, restore settings, works fine for about a month then looses tracking again. Here is the current setup:

Windows XP (SP3)
Zoomtext 9.1
Microsoft Outlook 2007
It does have a Kensington Expert Mouse with Kensington MouseWorks Version 6.0.3

The program does not lock up or crash, it just stops tracking the cursor. I was wondering if there is any way to fix this issue. Thank you.

Hello,

What is the specific version of ZoomText you are using (In ZoomText click on Help -> About ZoomText -> Version)? Is this issue only happening in a specific program? Is the issue when you are moving the mouse cursor/pointer or is it when you are typing it is not following the text cursor? Thanks.

Hello James and thank you for your reply. The current version of ZoomText is 9.18.8.58. The problem occurs in Microsoft Word 2007. It also occurs in Microsoft Outlook 2007 (Which uses Microsoft Word 2007). It is not following the text cursor. It seems that something is causing the tracking to stop. I am not sure if another software is causing this conflict or maybe even Microsoft Office is causing Zoomtext to stop tracking. I'm guessing when I uninstall, then reinstall the software some settings are getting reset and the tracking works again. If you need any more information please let me know. Thank you.

Hello,

Please see if the following may help to get the tracking working again. Thanks.

1. Close all applications.
2. At the ZoomText main menu, choose Help.
3. Choose Tech Support.
4. Into the FixIt command section, type AHOI and click the FixIt button.
5. Highlight the AHOI module you wish to re-register. (Remember which one you're working with. This case MS Word and MS Outlook.)
6. Click the Remove Module button.
7. Click on the Add Module... button.
8. Highlight the appropriate module or select them all and click the Open button.
9. Click the Exit button.
10. Exit and restart ZoomText.

Thank you for the information James. I went ahead and re-registered the modules. After a few weeks the tracking stopped again. Un-installing and re-installing the software worked again. Another user is also experiencing this issue. Is there any other fix you can think of to help with this issue? If you need any more information from me please let me know. Thank you for your help.
