Ai Squared has been a leader in the assistive technology field for over 20 years. Our flagship product, ZoomText, is the world’s best magnification and reading software for the vision impaired. We pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality software products and superior technical support.
This position is based at our headquarters office in Manchester Center, Vermont. We are unable to consider prospects on a telecommute basis at this time.
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide phone and email technical support to our customers i.e. users of ZoomText. ZoomText runs in Windows and gives blind and low-vision computer users access to all programs running in Windows. Therefore, a strong understanding of the Windows operating system and the ability to work with applications running in Windows is required.
Secondary duties for this position include assisting the QA group with testing and the Development group with isolating problems.

Qualifications & Culture:
A candidate for this position must be a critical thinker with strong analytical skills. This person must also be solutions-focused, able to multi-task and work in a relaxed but demanding environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must. This person will be part of a team that is an integral bridge to all other departments being the eyes and ears of existing and potential customers. Proficiency with Windows operating systems is required and an understanding of Microsoft Office products is expected.
Candidates for this position should have a BS/BA in Computer Science/Information Systems. We are especially interested in candidates that use our products.
